I first met Rosie and Dan 18 months before their big day. We had a few drinks, mucho laughs and it was clear from the off we were perfect for eachother!
I knew instantly their day was going to be one to remember. Regular Glastonbury goers, they decided on a festival themed day complete with an outdoor ceremony, a tipi, bar, flags, hay bales and a brilliant ska band to finish off the night. No detail was missed off, there were even marshmallows for toasting!
This being my first outdoor ceremony, I had to think about how to tackle the wind in my audio. By using deadmouse windshields on my lavelier mics given to both the groom Dan and the Registrar (his best friend Stuart!) I managed to fend off the wind for good, clean audio of their vows.
The Venue they chose was Alcott Farm, situated in the rolling Worcester countryside. Essentially a blank canvas available to hire for weddings with a list of reliable suppliers with whom you can create your perfect, unique day.
Hope you enjoy their trailer!
